Jeanette Wagner’s debut film is a dark, disturbing but entertaining little gem. A daughter seeks out her father, years after he left the family, but the renewed relationship begins to develop in troubling ways.Liebeskind is an arthouse film that deals with incestuous desire in an intelligent and provocative way. The strength of the movie is in large part due to strong direction and superb performances from the two leads (Anna Fisher and Lutz Blochberger) who are entirely convincing in their roles.
