SYNOPSISYoon-mi and Min-wook, who married for two years, run a ranch together. The happiness is cut short when Ji-hoon, a cowherd, accidentally runs over Ji-hoon causing him sexually disabled. The tragedy destroys the couple and lands Ji-hoon in jail. After his release, Ji-hoon tries to make it up to the couple by working for them to compensate them for his mistakes but the harder he tries, Min-wook becomes more abusive. When Min-wook sees Ji-hoon and Yoon-mi work together, he becomes mentally unstable. He mistakes another couple to be his wife and Ji-hoon and shoots them with a rifle hurting them seriously. Min-wook is institutionalized and Ji-hoon and Yoon-mi realize that familial contentment and fulfillment of basic desires are two very different things.
