Spanish-born Manuel de Pedro directed this fact-based Venezuelan action flick on a $300,000 budget. In 1980, Venezuelan filmmaker Maravilla (Gregorio Milano) and leftist radio-station operator Santiago (Alejandro Faillace) join El Salvador's Farabundo Marti for National Liberation, broadcasting from their voice-of-the-people van Radio Venceremos. This infuriates Col. Maldonado (Amado Zambrano), who sends government troops to silence the subversive transmissions. Shown at the 1998 Festival Cine Latino.
