The film consists of interviews with former presidentsMichel Deguy, François Noudelmann and Bruno Clément, current vice-president BoyanManchev, and with former and current program directors Catherine Malabou, FranciscoNaishtat and Gisèle Berkman. The aim of this film is to consider the possibilities of thehumanities in general and philosophy in particular under the current conditions of globalcapitalism. One of the main themes it tries to develop is the"question of the institution",namely the relationship between philosophy and institutions—a topic that was very centralfor deconstruction as elaborated and practiced by Derrida.参见:http://todai-yale.jp/from_tyi/news/film09_en.html
