The dashing Cowboy Jimmy, invincible hero of many a western, handles with his incomparable bravery a series of hair raising adventures. But we shall soon realize that we are just in a theatre right in the middle of a snow In the very moment when this western ends ]immy looses balance and »fails« from the screen among the audience. Having left the film, he is now in the real world, warmly welcomed by his »fan«. a small boy dressed like him as a cowboy, who takes him to a snack. There a group of little boy's friends, not an inch higher than he was, imitate all scenes they just saw in the theatre. The devil-daring cowboy is once again in the situation we have seen him to be in picture, out this time he is a real –self, clumsy, blundering, fainthearted, a coward and indifferent man.The children, very disappointed, turn back to theatre with Jimmy tied by the rope till to the neck and throw him back into the screen together with his equipment of the Far West.
