導演韓潔瑤歷時五年，深入拍攝香港碩果僅存的志記鎅木廠的 故事。志記在香港經濟騰飛的七八十年代曾經輝煌，九七後轉 型為環保企業，專注處理舊木和塌樹，73 年間見證了香港戰後 復甦及城市發展的歷史。木廠從北角遷至柴灣，再搬到上水古 洞，克服了無數巨變，但在新界東北發展的巨輪下，志記不得 不面臨收地清拆的命運。《木送》不僅捕捉了志記在收地限期 前的最後時光，亦記錄了老一輩匠人的堅持與奉獻。「木，不作 聲，但對人類的幫助是無窮無盡的。」行業消逝，像棄木一樣， 傳統工業在寸金尺土的香港是否只能剩下唏噓的身影？ With over seven decades of history, Chi Kee Sawmill has lived through multiple transformations by Hong Kong’s timber industry, including the economic boom in the 1980s and 1990s, as well as its radical shift to processing and recycling used timber. However, when the sawmill faces compulsory eviction by the government for its Northern Metropolis development project, the survival of this successful family-owned business becomes a modern Davidversus-Goliath story. The latest documentary by photojournalistturned-filmmaker Elyse Hon is a wistful look at the unstoppable machine of urban development and an old-school business unable to withstand the flow of time.
