A young boy named Satou sees a young girl and an old man emerging from a mysterious light. The girl, Hime, tells him that what he has just seen must be kept secret. The two become friends.Ten years later, on a date at a local festival, Satou decides to confess his feelings for Hime. She interrupts him to reveal that she is moving to a place far away and says goodbye.Satou goes home shocked and confused. He later sees a bright light shining in the mountains. Something prompts him to run towards the light, where he finds Hime standing before the source. The girl reveals that she is a princess from a different world and then disappears into the light. He chases after her.
